Rachel Bash | Owner & Instructor
Hi, I am Rachel, owner and instructor of Hot Salutations. My motivation to creating the studio was to share my love and enthusiasm for yoga. I graduated from FIU with a BS degree in Recreational Therapy, it was here where I discovered how yoga can strengthen and heal the body, and to help one achieve true balance in all aspects of life. As an avid marathon runner, distance swimmer, and certified spinning instructor it was only natural to add it to my fitness routine. I become a certified instructor in 2007. Since then I have continued to grow, research, and test yoga techniques to bring my students the best possible learning experience. I am dedicated to helping each of my students reach their own fitness goals through a unique style of Hot Vinyasa Flow. During my classes, I like to challenge all students regardless of their experience level or range of motion, while addressing each of their needs. The studio’s environment focuses on communication and community. I recognize that every student brings their own challenges and strengths to the mat.
I'm Cheyenne Evenson, a Vinyasa teacher graduate, from Red Pearl Yoga Studio in Ft. Lauderdale and have been teaching for three years. To enhance my yoga experience I’ve traveled to various yoga conventions in Thailand, France, and Italy. After living in Los Angeles for eight years as an entertainment journalist, I decided to make a life change and live the practice that has brought me so much joy and peace in my life. I have obtained a yoga passion that I want to share with others through teaching.
Trisha Ayoung Chee
Hey, Trisha here! I have been practicing yoga for 4 years. What started as a way of getting back into shape physically, became so much more than just a workout. When I started, I could barely touch my toes. Now, I've gained more flexibility and can place my hands under my feet! I want to bring the physical and metal benefits of Yoga to my students in a safe way, preventing any injuries. I am going to encourage you to take challenges but remember to always honor and respect what your body is asking. Learning patience, becoming more secure in the body and mind, and learning to calm down the mind, are just a few of the benefits I've gotten out of my yoga practice. Through Yoga, I believe every person, of all ages and sizes has the ability to find their inner strength on and off the mat. If you can't find me on my yoga mat I'm probably at Victory Living Programs, a nonprofit that serves adults with disabilities, or flipping through notecards while studying to become an Occupational Therapist.
Hi, my name is Amir. I started practicing yoga in 2014. and became certified in Vinyasa Yoga at Anuttara Yoga Shala in 2016. Everyone has a unique yoga style, mine is fuses knowledge from a variety of lineages including Ashtanga, Iyengar and Yin Yoga. Amir encourages students to develop an intentional practice to foster growth and recognize the beauty within. I welcome modifications/variations so any level student can grow their practice and honor their bodies/injuries. It’s about having fun with the practice and exploring the body and mind along the way!
Hi! I'm Amal. I began practicing yoga in 2009 and recently completed my 200-hour training with Amanda White. Having travelled all over the country, I tried out various styles of yoga, where I discovered how much of a positive impact yoga had on my life, both mentally and physically. I am eager to share the gift of yoga with you. My goal as an instructor is to teach with compassion and offer detailed verbal cues and expert hands on adjustments to help students deepen their practice. Emphasizing breath, movement, and proper alignment through a moving meditation. I believe that yoga is a direct reflection of our lives, and when we have a regular practice, we are able in improve all aspects of our lives.
